Anne-Marie’s victory appears to be on the rocks this year as the other three judges light-heartedly try to sabotage her chances in the teaser by “breaking” her chair, before Sir Tom Jones ominously says: “You’ve had your turn” .

“When I’m back The Voice UK studio, my expectations have been exceeded,” Sir Tom said when the 2022 lineup was originally commissioned. “I love the anticipation of hearing unknown singers and I can’t wait to see what’s in store this time around.”

Anne-Marie, whose performer Craig Eddie was crowned champion last year, added: “It feels so good to be back! I had the most amazing time last series and I’m so excited to be back in the big red chair min. Winning with Craig’s last series was a special moment and I’m determined to keep my crown!”
