Many saw the tweet as Gill coming out publicly, even though the TV personality had not addressed her comments until now.

– Coincidentally, I remember watching it [the tweet] and thinking, what have I said,” she said.

“Like a lot of my friends were like you’re going to do it any way, that’s the typical way you’d do it. Normally people have these lovely, beautiful stories and lovely, beautiful, real Instagram posts, like just lush. I’ve put changing layers on a tweet and that’s how I came out.”

Gill, whose relationship with islander Greg O’Shea only lasted two weeks outside the villa, has admitted to being more choosy when choosing a partner now.

“I find it really hard and I can’t, like, I don’t know, like, the reason behind it. But I just, yeah, I’m very picky now. And like, very set on what I like and what I don’t like, so I don’t know if that’s part of the reason, she said.

Despite saying she doesn’t have a type when it comes to women, Gill has revealed she has a deal breaker with guys.

“I would hate if someone is too much on Instagram, like wanting to take pictures of everything. This is for a guy, although I don’t have many faults when it comes to girls, but for guys I’m much tougher.”
