EastEnders reveals goodbye message from Rose Ayling-Ellis after exit scenes aired

EastEnders has released a farewell message from Rose Ayling-Ellis after her exit scenes aired on Thursday (September 22).

The soap saw her character Frankie leave Albert Square in bittersweet scenes as she headed to Scotland to take up a new job.

And now, in a message posted to EastEndersTwitter Rose has shared her last words of farewell, signing off: “Hey, I can’t believe it, it’s my last day today.”

The video then cuts to her receiving an Albert Square plaque as her co-workers and crew cheer her on.

“The biggest thing I’m going to miss… I’m going to miss the family here – especially the Carters. We have become so close, she continued.

The actress went on to thank fans for their love and support for her character.

“Without you fans, the show wouldn’t happen and Frankie wouldn’t even happen,” she said.

“I’ve learned so much while I’ve been here, so it will definitely stay with me for the rest of my life,” she says, referring to her plaque.

“I’m going to miss everyone here. And I want to say the biggest thank you to everyone here who works here, and works hard. goodbye for now, see you later!” she ends the message and signs off with a big flying kiss to the camera.

Which is on par with EastEndersFrankie didn’t leave without getting to be a part of her own sweet twist in the end.

When Frankie bravely decided to go to Scotland on her own and told the Carters about it, she received a lot of love and support from them.

But as Mick helped her put on her rucksack, he noticed her name tag read ‘Frankie Carter’, making for a very emotional scene as she tearfully told him: “I haven’t made it official, but it just felt right.”

Fans won’t have to wait too long to see Rose back on their TV screens as she is currently developing a comedy series to star in.
